Because I'm assuming one would have to download the higher-res textures with the "-image" tag. Imagine the download time if you were to try to get into Lion's Arch or Kamadan or Kaineng Center with that option enabled? Pretty insane, if you ask me.

If it's implemented without doing that, though, that's another thing altogether.

You would have to download the armor anyway, it would just be in low res. I believe when you download an armor, it's downloaded in high res but shown in low res for slower computers (which is not needed in my opinion because I've used the mod on several slow computers and it ran fine)

Apparently high res and low res textures are different. Any armour you own will be in high res, but I believe that the textures do download differently.
